What About the Women?

EUROSCRIPT FREE EVENT - THURSDAY 12 JANUARY

Rebecca Brand, Head of Communications at Women in Film and Television, and Agent / Writer / Actress Janice Day will be in conversation with Euroscript's Gabriella Apicella talking about the roles women play in front of and behind the camera in the film industry.  With prominent biopics of some of history's most iconic women already getting Oscar buzz, it would seem on the surface that more diverse representations of female characters are encroaching on the mainstream.  But in reality is this the case, or merely a happy accident of distribution dates?

Join us for a lively conversation as Euroscript looks ahead to a year of fairer representations of women, with two NEW courses:

Writing Female Characters on 18th January (to be repeated in June)
Herstory from 17th - 18th March
